Empowering Indigenous Futures through Care, Culture, and Connection

The Mayaary Foundation™ is a charity-led organisation committed to restoring dignity, wellbeing, and opportunity for Indigenous peoples across the Australian continent and beyond. Rooted in the principle of Mulawaitja, a sanctuary on country, we provide targeted support for families, youth, and stateless persons experiencing crisis, exclusion, or disadvantage.

We believe in healing through action: from emergency accommodation and culturally grounded mental health programs, to identity services and youth engagement through sport and the arts.

Every program we run is shaped by Indigenous voices and driven by cultural values. Our work is not about charity — it’s about justice, reconnection, and rebuilding.

The Mayaary Foundation™ is committed to creating inclusive futures for Indigenous communities across Australia and beyond. Our work is grounded in respect for heritage, while actively pursuing solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.

We focus on:

  • Cultural Continuity – ensuring Indigenous languages, arts, and traditions remain living, thriving systems.

  • Digital Sovereignty – developing tools such as Digital ID and secure wallets that allow Indigenous peoples to interact with governments, businesses, and the world on their own terms.

  • Sustainable Development – fostering projects that support local economies, Indigenous employment, and environmental stewardship.

With a base in Cairns, our foundation is deeply connected to local communities while maintaining a global outlook.
